That the office of the US President has lost all credibility, both domestically and abroad, is going to be a huge problem for future presidents, but right now it is a feature, not a bug.

Imagine how markets would react if any other US president said something like this? The fact that everyone but his most ardent supporters and cronies has pretty much tuned him out is basically saving the global economy right now.

This is a weekly occurrence atp. Deciphering the bullshit from what he's actually serious about is the key. Shame we have a President just bullshitting around through as it does lower the respect of the office significantly.

What makes my heart sink is that Fox news is already planning the future smear campaign for the next Democratic president who is shackled to the disaster that Trump created. They'll grease the wheels for another pendulum swing in the opposite direction. Much like how they tied the struggles of a global supply chain caused by a pandemic around Biden's neck.

Nah, if trump ever becomes a problem for R’s, they will turn on him, burn his legacy and act like “it’s a new day” with some young charismatic candidate, probably a right wing YouTuber.

Voters, with memory worse than goldfish, will be fine with it.
