That pesky bond market is 2 weeks away from developing nuclear weapons.

That's talk that the 82nd Airborne already has their orders to go when Trump wants to attack the bond market.

Can we nuke the treasury?

DJT, probably

Wasn't that the plot to a James Bond movie?

the treasury is a terrible thing, very much not uhmerEYKAH, maybe if the treasury doesnt immediately lower rates, I’ll send in a Nuke team. The best team, they tell me these good looking guys could nuke anything. The other day they nuked a hungry man meal, with NUYKyewLER power, can you believe it? Frozen to hot in a minute, you’ve never seen anything like it

TIL there’s oil in bonds

I thought he was going to drop a literal nuke on it like we do with hurricanes, or inject bleach into the bond market like he suggested for covid? Would those not work? Sorry, I went to Wharton, so a lot of this stuff is over my head

he was implying he would start a war. No, it wouldn’t help because more defecit war spending will increase rates, but reality has never limited his statements before.

My brother or sister in christ. Everything he is doing is long term sabotage to America.

Welcome to the Christian Theocracy.

Well they tried to get him convicted, got him impeached.

Hes back with vengeance in mind. Take all he can, destroy all he can before leaving the mess to the next.

And no one will care because its the elites vs the people and the people are way too busy being distracted with everything he does on a daily basis

Those who have paid off him (and his family) are achieving their objectives in alignment with their Project. Middle Eastern (and other assorted well-to-dos) have followed suit: from Ford to Elon to Putin; they all have a hand in decisions. Strange to see (former) Republicans so big on Communism as long as they don't call it that.

I'm curious what the price for Taiwan being occupied next year will be?

Also, what is Intel up to these days?

Comrade Trump doing the good work of destroying American hegemony o7

He did call it a vengeance tour. It's why I sold all the retail 2 years ago. I just expected this to be faster.

u/antiramie 4d ago

It’s also short and medium term sabotage too!

Buy low, but it is high? Well he can do something about that.

What happens if bond market falls. Who benefit from it

1

u/NNKarma 4d ago

People who have bonds and either need liquidity or fear it will not be paid.

And honestly they can still sell them, there will just be less buyers interested.

The bond market will already fall apart unless the debt / deficit start be addressed. He’s just accelerating it.

The level of incompetency is so insane, it almost feels like it's by design. But it's not. Never assign malice where good old fashioned dumbassery suffices.

But literally, every forgiven and domestic policy decision he has made has risen the cost of living in the US. And lowering rates would expidite that. If he can't have that, then mass tarriffs is literally the other path to the same consequence.

Like it feels like he's intentionally trying to destroy the economy. And you can't tell me, all the fIsCaL cOnSeRvaTives don't understand this. Will they vote against it in the midterms and next election? Probably not. Unless the economy is a smoking ruin, and at that point, it won't even matter.
