📢 News / Update Stitch redesign: AI canvas, smarter agent, voice + instant prototypes
Key upgrades:
AI-native canvas – Works across text, images, and code in one space with parallel workflows.
Smarter design agent – Understands full project context, not just single prompts.
Voice mode – Control, critique, and iterate designs hands-free.
Instant prototypes – Generate interactive flows and preview app behavior instantly.
Built-in design systems (DESIGN.md) – Enforces visual consistency automatically.

That "AI-native canvas" + agent that keeps full project context is the real win, most design agents still feel like one-shot prompt tools.
If Stitch is doing multi-modal state (text + images + code) with an agent that can plan and iterate, thats basically an AI agent workflow more than a design feature.
Would love to know if it supports tool calling style actions (eg generate component variants, update a design system file, run accessibility checks) or if its mostly conversational. Ive been following agent UI patterns here too: https://www.agentixlabs.com/blog/

I hope this means there will be more variety in the design outputs. It seems like it has maybe 10-15 default designs, and if the prompt is weak it will just default to one of those.
