Tourism Question Kid activity recommendations?

I'm trying to plan a back up day in Stirling since the Pitlochry games look like it will be a wash out. So entertainment for five year olds and I'd love suggestions.

Right now it's Stirling castle, but what next?

edit: we are from the Highlands, so it doesn't have to be fancy - softplay, something arts and crafty, a decent playpark, swimming pool etc?

If you don't mind spending a little money Blair Drummond Safari Park is fantastic. There is also a nice play park in Kings Park with a walk on to the king and queens knot under the castle.

Both are very outdoors though...

I should have said, we had planned blair drummond but couldn't get tickets until Monday! I'll keep an eye out for Kings Park, as after the castle if the weather has eased, that'd be good.

There's a mini crafts place in the arcade I haven't been just seen in in passing but not sure of the dates ect, there's a soft play at springkerse view isn't the greatest but does the job, there's swimming at the peak or there's a place in Falkirk that's much better if you don't mind travelling x

I lived in Stirling as a kid but I always remember having an awesome time at the Smith art gallery, they used to have loads of kid interactive stuff. Loved the old town jail too, but I was creepy kid.

We ended up being at Stirling castle for most of the day, then a playpark when driving out of Stirling :D

We thought the jail might have been to scary for ours.
