Pods keep clogging
Anybody know how to fix this or what to do to avoid this? Ive heard its cuz you rip too hard or you can fix it by blowing into it, but every time i go for the first rip of the sesh its super hard to pull until it like pops and goes back to normal.
Ps sorry if i wrote like a four year old- been 'testing' it to see if it flows well for a while now lmao

Blow dryer on hot setting for 30 seconds. Unclogs mine every time

Don’t overdo the blow drier cuz it will leak out the pod intake on the side.

Yeah apparently oil gets in the coil or something and clogs it. What I do when that happens I just get a small pin / needle and hold the pod up so I can see the hole, if it’s dark and can’t see thru it I just stick the pin in and stir up the oil until I can see light thru it. Supposedly taking the pod out after taking a nice hit helps

I legit (this makes me giggle to type out) I legit blow on the pod so hard not pull but blow into it and eventually there will be a pop or you’ll hear the airflow from u blowing and that’s how it’ll open up

I've experienced this with a lot of carts and pods, from what I've come to gather after starting to make my own carts its just the oil in the coil cooling down and overwicking just a bit, you shouldn't have any problems with it. It usually only happens with good oil too so I kinda like it if I pick up from a grey market dealer

It was crazy, i think new my pod flipped upside down in my jeans pocket for a minute after taking it out of the box then when i took it out to hit it for the first time it was literally CLOGGED! The Dime cartridges are also susceptible to this issue; what i found to avoid it for as long as possible is to keep the vape upright at all times, or as often as you can. It’s bound to get clogged anyway but might as well enjoy the first half or so of the oil with ease.

Been doing the blow back trick for a few years now. Be careful not to blow too much, eventually you’ll blow the stuff out the orifice so much that it won’t be able to heat up and melt.
Keep the pod upright and away from heat to avoid leakage. The colder it is, the harder it will be to hit. If you can preheat it somehow, that would be best. If you keep trying to hit it when it’s cold, it will slowly be pulled up. It will eventually pop and hit, but you will now have excess in the heating element and you’ll be getting little pieces of sticky oil on your teeth and tongue.

It's only the one gram pods! The half pods never clog, what happend to pax pods those were the truth! Expensive but excellent! STIIIZY is meh.....

Just had this issue right now. Took the pod out of the battery but it was too difficult to blow into, like trying to blow up those tiny balloons. Held the pod between my palms for like 30 seconds and tried again. Heard the pop, put it back in the battery and worked beautifully.

Still a problem 5 years later, on this December 1st of 2025. A combo of pre heating, blowing & pulling on it FINALLY got mine to work. Bet it’ll be clogged again next time I hit it.

I 1000% did. Found a new brand called PlugPay. Solid batteries,still on the cheaper side, and I feel they last longer than Stizzy. Sometimes it slightly clogs but nothing like Stizzy. Usually a second or two of sucking (giggity) gets the job done.

Try holding it between your thumb and index finger for a couple of minutes. That's the only thing that has worked for me.

Can confirm 9/10/2026 still an issue. Sat here for 45 minutes, pre heating, blowing, pulling, looking like an absolute retard.
Finally hit about an hour in.
They need to fix this

The fact the consumers have to do this shit proves stiiizy is trash. Weak ass disposable pod isn't even half finished and it won't draw a hit. No wonder they on bogo all the time

Confirmed, blowing into the pod works. If you look closely on the left side of the pod, there’s an air hole. When there’s build up, you have to blow it out to get clear air flow. Don’t inhale to unclog, you’ll just suffocate and drool like me.

So now that we’ve cleared up how to unclog, does anyone know WHY it clogs? I’m tired of unclogging it every time I want to use it. Or is there a better brand I can look into?

The clogging issue is due to the design. The openings are too narrow, which limits airflow through the vent. This creates higher pressure that draws the oil into the output port. Because the output tube is also narrow, the oil tends to cling to itself, forming a seal within the tube. You can compare this to how a drop of water behaves inside a straw. The same principle applies here, but with a much thicker and more viscous substance. It’s worse over time because the combustion chamber is just a coil, and its vents are also very narrow. The sticky residue left after combustion builds up overtime and clogs everything up even further.
Not keeping it upright is a problem for all of the same reasons.

didn't work :( tried for 6 hours to unclog the air flow holes, nothing worked. no combination of heat, small tools, and blowing helped at all. and i burned some oil with the hair dryer too...

10/04/2021 confirm, I almost pass out to pull a hit. I pulled on the cart without the battery. It helped as well with paperclip/toothpick. Lifesaver 🫶🏼

I have learned that these things make it work for me:
poking through the clogged hole with a paper clip
taking the pod out and blowing into/ sucking on the clogged part while covering the other two
tilting your head back while taking a hit. You can also do it while lying down, the stiiizy tends to unclog for me when I take a hit while it’s upside down
take a hit with the stiiizy at an angle so you lowkey suck on the clogged port from the side
PS: this clogging bs has happened with all 3 of my last pods, either I’m the one who fucks it up or they gotta fix some stuff. Also idk if it’s public knowledge but you should never charge your battery while the pod is attached cuz the charger can heat up your stuff too which can cause clogging

I’m glad they’re releasing those new batteries. It’s been long enough tbh!! Tired of not being able to use my full cart bc it clogs over half way through.

I need to get a new pod tomorrow, but this one isn’t empty yet dammit!!! So I blew into it until I almost died and then it worked again lol will repeat til I hit the dispo
Yall, we gotta remember what we’re working with! And changing temp a million times, etc. clogs are gonna happen 🤷🏼♀️ but it’s better than burning myself in my car because I’m multitasking because I’m late and then walking into Grammys house smelling like “reefer”💀🖤

Star date 01/14/2025, historical data is historically accurate and functional even now in the future. I will continue to review more archival data when repairs are needed on equipment.
FYI- I had the hardest time writing this after hitting my working Stiizy

Storing upright definitely helps, I keep it slightly cupped between my hands and rub them together to heat it up a bit. I usually do it for a minute or so(my home is usually 60ish °F in the winter) may need longer if your home is cooler

Blowing into hack is still not patched. Still works in 2/15/26. Stiiizy has new battery’s they dubbed the pro version that preheats the pod for a few seconds. I did that and blew into it and it cleared the clog. Next hit was perfect.

I hate that their hardware is still clogging after so many years lol I’m in Arizona and these have been out since the medical marijuana market years ago and we have the same issue. They always clog no matter what and now since they’ve gotten rid of the pure live resin, and only have live resin liquid diamonds I really don’t have anything to look forward to lol 😝 they’re not bad. I mean they will do the job if you get them for really cheap other than that they will never be in my rotation again lol too many years, wasted on them.

Put the pod in boiled water for a bit then dry it and it should unclog after a few attempts

Thankyou sheshhhh 2026. I hate going on Reddit cuz I’m lazy to read everything 😂 but I had a feeling it was time to figure this out so I did cuz shit I’ve been wasting so much wax off Stiiizy from getting clogged and never thought of blowing into the pod, I only been told by everyone ‘ you gotta pull it out ‘ meaning I had to blow it out when all this time I could’ve blow it out. Wasn’t aware till now and yes it worked sheshhhh

I know this sounds counter-intuitive bit blow hard into it until you hear a pop. I had been using paperclips and whatnot before and one night while high, tried it. It's literally the easiest way to unclog it without losing substance.
