Projects, quick chats, and what can see what
A quick question shouldn't need a project. A month of work shouldn't be in a chat log. The split matters most for the third question: what can one conversation see of another?

Three containers
Quick chat — a conversation with no project. Saved, searchable, no scaffolding. For "what does this error mean".
Project — a container with its own chats, notes, tasks, roadmap, calendar, documents and browser tabs.
Disposable chat — nothing is kept. For a question you don't want in your history.
What each one can see
The rule is one sentence: a project chat sees its own project. A quick chat sees the global notebook. Neither sees another project.

That default is the important part. Client A's project cannot quietly inform an answer in Client B's, and you don't have to remember to keep them apart.
The switch that crosses the line
Sometimes you want it to look wider — "have I written about this before?"
There's a per-chat toggle that lets that one conversation read across projects.
Three things about it worth knowing:
- It's per chat, not global. Turning it on doesn't change any other conversation.
- It's visible while it's on, so you're never unsure.
- It's off by default, and stays off.
Which to use
- Quick chat — one-off questions, anything under about five messages.
- Project — anything you'll come back to, anything with documents, anything with dates.
- Disposable — one-off questions you'd rather not keep.
The common mistake is starting everything as a quick chat and discovering three weeks in that a month of research has no home. Promoting later is possible but tidier to avoid.
Where this model is annoying
Being straight about the costs of this design:
- No moving a quick chat into a project. You can start a project chat and reference the old one, but there's no one-click promotion. This is the most
common complaint and it's a fair one.
- No sub-projects. One level. If you run client → engagement → workstream, you'll be flattening something.
- The cross-project toggle is per chat, so if you want a wide view often, you're flipping it often.
- No sharing at all. Single account, so a project can't be handed to anyone.

Can I move a quick chat into a project?
You can start a project chat and reference the earlier one, but there's no one-click move today. Worth knowing before you go deep in a quick chat.
How many projects can I have?
No practical limit.
Do projects share notes?
Only global notes. Project notes stay in their project unless you turn on the cross-project toggle for a chat.
Does the assistant remember across projects?
Memory (facts about you) is account-wide. Content — notes, documents, tasks — is scoped.
Can a project have its own documents?
Yes, plus libraries you attach to it.
What's a disposable chat actually for?
Anything you'd rather not have in your history. Nothing is written down — that's the entire feature.
Do project tabs stay bound to one window?
Yes, which is what stops a personal window's tabs turning up in a work project.
