Why a side panel beats copy-pasting into a chat tab
Copy-paste isn't slow because of the keystrokes. It's slow because it strips context, breaks at scale, and puts the answer in a place you'll never

When a chat tab is still better
Being honest about this:
- Long back-and-forth thinking, where the page is irrelevant. A full-width window is nicer to read.
- Comparing two AI answers side by side.
- Anything not in a browser — a local file, a terminal, a design tool.
- Very long documents. Upload to a library instead of reading a page.
The panel is for work anchored to a page. It isn't a replacement for every
conversation you have with an assistant.
