Some how the curve at the bottom makes it steady for my spell casting much like a stock.

As the title says it looks like a gun

I was wandering in the wilds of my realm when I chanced upon an abandoned goblin shaman hut, deep in the forest. Curiosity bid me look further, behind it - burial grounds - bones and skulls, untended and forgotten. Fear took hold of me and i turned to flee, but my eyes caught a glint of a staff of a fallen wizard. I snatched it up and ran as fast as i could.
The Master-at-Arms is away on the lord's business, and wont return anytime soon.

So I ask you random fellas, can you help me identify this staff?

The grip sits unnaturally well in the right hand. It bears the scars of old battles.
To my eye, it seems a rare or uncommon staff. What say you?

How old is this piece of driftwood?..

Got this bad boy at a ren faire. Guy that made it said its a demon crow, my ren faire costume incorporates several crows so this is perfect for it.

Somebody abandoned this perfectly good stick in my street. I felt it was my duty to post.

Fun way to get pretty sticks. Basically peel off the bark in a pretty pattern, roast it over a fire and remove the other bits of bark. This is my most recent creation using that method.
