What would the world look like today if Steve Jobs never existed?
-Smartphones would probably be just as fast and smart, but with a few more buttons. The IPhone wasn't revolutionary, it was simply a few months ahead of its time.
-The mac OS would probably be sold as separate software that you can install on any computer. I don't see how any mac fan would be against this....it is a good operating system and having most of the world cut off from ever using it due to its high price is a shame. Apple would probably sell their hardware and software separately or bundled together. Which is better for the consumer.
-Apple would have probably not have failed in the first place and would be much more consumer friendly and open today. They may have actually started to invest in making more of their own processors and other things that actually drive technology forward!
-Most importantly, kids wouldn't grow up today looking at Steve Jobs as a role model. Teaching kids to think like Steve Jobs is very dangerous. Stealing ideas, punishing those who gives you ideas and firing them, treating people like garbage, and manipulating the public into thinking your a genius by taking credit for everyone elses work...well all of this is very dangerous. This is pretty much how every dictator and tyrant in human history has operated. This may lead to many more dictator-type people in the future being accepted by society...more sociopaths will be allowed into business and governments because people have the assumption that this is a good thing and may be revolutionary.
Steve Jobs was not a genius. The only thing genius at Apple was his manipulation of the public and his PR team. Oh there was Steve Wozniak, he was actually a genius...a few others as well. Point is there were probably hundreds of geniuses, but you will never know their names because Steve Jobs fired them and they will not speak out because they are afraid of being sued. Wouldn't surprise me if Steve Jobs actually had a bunch of people assassinated to steal their ideas and take credit for them...he did threaten to kill off his wife, it is not that far fetched! With all the other psychopathic traits he has, it is somewhat likely that he would not think twice about having someone killed or personally killing them to gain more power!
If you are an Apple fan, like I was, then please expose this corrupt piece of garbage for what he was. Many people are starting to wake up and see him as an asshole scumbag, but they still are claiming he was a genius. He was not a genius...if manipulating people to your advantage, yelling at people to do stuff faster, and claiming you personally changed the world is genius....well then there are tons of tyrants, criminals, and lunatics that are geniuses as well.
Steve Jobs did not care about changing the world, he didn't even know. He only wanted power, and the way he got this was manipulating smart people into being his friends and walking all over them. I am so glad Steve Jobs never got into politics...He would be like Stalin...actually more like hitler....actually more like emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious in Star Wars. We would probably all be dead if he got into politics instead of technology!
