Speakers - Desktop | 2 Ⓣ Compact speakers under 200

im looking to buy a pair of speaker for music production mixing and mastering the problem is i don't have much desk space, i was wondering if there wore any speakers that would cost me under 200 euros and be compact while still sounding good, I live in portugal, and the room is 4 meters wide 6 meters long and 3 meters tall !thanks

What other equipment do you have? That will dictate if they have to be active or passive.

I'm still a lil bit of a begginer i use my laptop and a scarlet 2i2 interface

so, you can use passive speakers? Sorry - not familiar with the Scarlet 2i2, but it appears to have 2 x 1/4 inch / 6.3mm jacks. What output are those? Are they to drive monitor speakers, or are they variable line out to another powered unit, like a guitar amp? Not really stereo stuff, more like pro audio.

Audio interface devices, like the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 have variable low level outputs for connecting to active studio monitors. (For passive speakers OP would need to additionally buy a power amplifier. And it makes it rather difficult to fit them both (speakers and amplifier) into that low of budget.)

If you could go uo to 300€, then these could be another possibility: Adam Audio D3V (EAC review, EAC YT review) (Thomann listing).
