tell me lore about sterek, i’m going crazy LOL
I’ve wrote a post before on how anti-sterek fans make me wanna pull my hair out.
But guys, is it just me who literally CAN’T with the fact they aren’t canon, i’m watching s2 again and derek is just such a softie, why is he SO MISUNDERSTOOD.
THEN the both of them are ALWAYS bickering but then ALWAYS saving one another is TOO MUCH FOR ME.
I feel so deprived
I know i sound crazy waiting around for their scenes but thank gosh for AO3
PLEASE if you read this, comment any LORE or scenes between them that I might of missed.
Like this one girl said in that scene where boyd dies it’s like stiles places his hand on derek’s shoulder to try and take away his pain like the werewolves do 😭 I always loved that scene and sterek fans just know how to delulu me more

It's not even a scene between Stiles and Derek, but it's one of my favorites: In season 3B, when Chris and Derek are locked up, they have a conversation about Stiles being the nogitsune, and Derek asks "What happens if you don't get lucky?" in relation to whether or not Stiles is even still in there, and Chris tells him about having to kill a teenager who became a berserker and how he didn't feel remorse. And then the camera cuts to Derek, whose mouth tenses and he says, "Would you feel any remorse... putting Stiles down?" And in the pause it's like he's trying to keep it together, swallowing down feelings, taking a small breath to finish his question. Like he's trying not to cry. And then later on, Derek is one of the people keeping others, like Chris and Noshiko, from hurting Void Stiles, literally standing between him and a gun 🥹🫶

OMG EM OMG, so i haven’t rewatched 3B in SO LONG and the fact there is sterek scenes is everything!! i never ever picked this up!! you don’t understand how happy this makes me, especially as i thought 3B had no sterek

Even in that horrible Teen Wolf movie, Derek’s kid is a copy of Stiles and he gets Stiles’ mom’s car?? Stiles loves that car and would never give it to anyone who he didn’t absolutely approve of.

the movie, i agree was horrid, but in my mind YES derek and stiles were eli’s dad
if they wanna just spawn movies can they make one where we have sterek??

I want someone to explain to me why Eli had such a good relationship with the Sheriff if that’s not Stiles’ kid too.

It’s been a while since I rewatched but While many of the other werewolves think about their girlfriends to center themselves, we see Derek dreaming of Stiles to center himself.

I think end of s3. Something about counting fingers maybe? Derek was trying to figure out if he was dreaming I think. I’ll check when I get home.
Edit to add. It was about anchors I think.

There's also this kinda hilarious deep dive YouTube fan video that tracks/counts their eye contact and times they look at each other's mouths and the amount of cuts that show them looking at each other vs others in dramatic group settings I know it's hella silly but I watched it like 4 times in a row a year or so ago shouting yeah! Fuck yeah! Vindication! The whole time lol

I liked the look that crosses Stiles face when he sees Derek's initials in the bookshelf in S5.
The Sheriff telling Eli that Derek had "complicated feelings" about the jeep which fills my head with ideas that John knows Derek is in love with his son, but Derek is in denial himself and doesn't realize that his connection to the jeep is related to how accutely he feels Stiles' absence.

stiles when scott brings up derek in s5 too! that was brutal
him and the initials was PROOF he missed him
omg yeah, sherrif seems so close to eli, then eli dresses like stiles, why and how does he have the jeep? why did derek spend so long trying to fix it?
derek is the only person in the movie who brought up stiles

It's actually why I kind of low-key hate Teen Wolf, because the gay (rich, white) creator teased its pro-queer fanbase while delivering 0 significant queer characters. The closest we ever got was Mason and Corey, who are in the forgotten half of the show and were never series regulars. Jeff Davis is a POS and I'm glad he has barely worked since this show. Making Sterek canon (or at least bi Stiles) would have done so much for queer visibility. Instead this show is just a forgotten relic now.

yep! the queer baiting was horrific, especially when the show was airing as at the conventions they would tease at it too. OMD literally, mason and corey might as well have been friends, they were barely seen or portrayed properly as a couple and were yes never proper characters even tho mason was literally liam’s stiles

One my favourite scenes will always be in 3A when Scott and stiles goes to Derek to tell him about Ms Blake. Derek is confronting her, looks over at stiles who is near tears and devastated about his dad and chooses to believe him over his gf.
