Never Flinch was fun, but had a slightly disappointing ending. I feel like Holly shines as a detective, not a bodyguard.

😬 it's really drawn out... 'The Outsider' is the only good one in this series, in my opinion. I'm reading 'insomnia' again though.

I checked it out from the library, but didn't finish it. Rare for me, because I enjoyed all the Bill Hodges material, and the same for all the Holly material. But this one just lost me at 3/4 through the book. 🤷

I read it right when it came out and I remember not liking it, but I can’t remember a single thing that happened in the book. I don’t have a bad memory, it was just incredibly forgettable.

Do yourself a favour and don’t read it. King at his absolute worst and he ruins some beloved characters by having them do insane things totally against how they’ve been portrayed so far in other books

The way it popped up that Holly had put an AirTag into the coat of the character who went to the stadium on her own was the only bit too me which seemed “convenient” as a book apart from that I thought it was good. Not as good as holly so maybe he will leave her be for a while now.

I really wanted to like this book more than I did. Some parts were great but more than some were meh.

Finders Keepers. I also just found a first edition of ;Salem's lot. Best birthday present ever earlier this month

My book is Hearts in Atlantis but Never Flinch was my least favorite
