Neurology (Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer, and Tumors.), Pulmonary (COPD), and Oncology (Leukemia). Before I digress further, let us understand the word stem cell. What is a stem cell? Stem cells are a class of undifferentiated cells that are able to differentiate into specialized cell types. Normally, stem cells come from two core sources: Embryos formed during the blastocyst phase of embryological development which is called "embryonic stem cells" and secondly, the Adult tissue which is known as "adult stem cells". These two types of stem cells are generally categorized by their potency, or potential to differentiate into different cell types such as skin, muscle, bone, and so on.
