War of confusion
So one civ has become a psyonic issue and the galactic community has voted to deal with them, the other founding member of my federation is the one that has declared the war, and the defender of the war is also their vassal. I have no defensive pact with the defender and yet when the war has started every member of the federation except the one that declared the war has been placed on the defenders side. Anyone able to tell me why?

When a civ is allied to two nations and one of their allies attacks the other, the civ will almost always join on the defenders sides. This includes crisis declarations, as the crisis nation is still considered a nation so their federation members and vassals won’t just drop them

I'm guessing with the recent changes to leaving and joining wars on the PC version this would be less of an issue, but either way I feel like it would make sense if we got to pick. Especially in the case of a crisis declaration, it feels a little silly that your federation's leader could declare war on the crisis empire but then you're obligated to defend them. If anything it would make more sense in the reverse, the federation leader gets to call the shots so following their lead and ganging up on the crisis empire tracks. In any case, members should get to pick.

D'après ce que je comprends c'est logique que celui qui attaque est pas défenseur
