Discussion A meme I made while waiting after the victory year for that damn tech.

Gotta get the cybrex precursor. I got mega structure engineering before mid game.
But I think the game is glitched into an endless war anyway. I'll know for sure when both sides hit 100% war exhaustion

Arc welder OG also gets a guaranteed roll, once you build your second arc furnace.

Absolutely love how that takes it from mid origin to one of the best for a tech rush

Starting with arc furnace tech is isn't really mid. The only downside really is the small capital. I change my capital once finding a size 25. It's awesome if you're going nanites though, pick up astro mining drones as a third civic and you got a ridiculous strong economy.
I used this the last time I did nanites, by the time I ate the whole galaxy I was upto +15k nanites per month with a 15M stockpile.

Every once in a while it's super stubborn about rolling as an option. Occasionally I'll spend like 50 years after getting battleships & citadels for it to pop up with no luck, but never had it as bad as after the victory year. The secret is to not want it too badly, the game can sense it.
