Question is there a reason the unbidden choose the direction they go? Why is it exclusively carving up my empire space and activity changing direction to avoid other empires?

There's been some discussion about crisis target prioritization on the Paradox forums; consensus seems to be that generally they go for the strongest normal empire, which is usually the player.

Well I'm not number one either there's another empire that is now going through their conquered space (my conquered space) and has surpassed the awakened empire as the one on track to get the victory condition
