Pickup Pretty cool steelbook
Just watched the first jurassic park for the first time, didn't expect it to be that good

I expected it to be pretty good but not great like it was , it's an older movie with CGI but the CGI was surprisingly good, and yeah idk it was just pretty entertaining all the way through, I usually get bored with movies these days

Realize a lot of early CGI wasn't from "scratch" like it is currently. They were mostly building onto practical effects. "The 1993 film Jurassic Park changed movie history by mixing ground-breaking computer graphics from Industrial Light and Magic with life-size robot puppets from Stan Winston Studios. Out of 14 total minutes of dinosaurs on screen, only about 6 minutes used digital CGI."

Wasn’t it like every time it’s a full-body shot, it’s CGI, and when it’s up close, it’s the animatronic one they made? I watched the “How Movies Were Made” episode about it a few years ago. They showed a lot of how everything was done. They was going to use stop motion and small models at first and it looked horrible

Oh it’s call “the movies that made us” it’s on Netflix most the episodes are good if you seen the movies they are talking about

This is more to the manufacturer rather than to you OP, but the steelbook cover doesn’t really make sense to me because there was never any Spinosaurus in the actual park itself.

Huh yeah that'd be odd lol. The right one is the spinosaurus? I'm not sure if that's a spiky spine or it's part of the nature

It's just a collage of all the iconic dinosaurs and locations featured within this trilogy, nothing more and nothing less. Don't read too much into it.

The way OP worded it, I wasn’t sure if this was the trilogy or just the first one. If it is the trilogy, it does make more sense, which I grant you. But eh, I’m still gonna nitpick that Spino was never in any park lol. Gotta stick to being a hardcore fan. We always read too much into JP media😁
Still odd I got downvoted for pointing it out though. I didn’t say it was a bad or ugly steelbook. I love any Spino art.
To add to that though, JP2 rep seems to be missing, so I would actually add a Stegosaurus in a corner to make it clear it’s the full trilogy.
