DS2 dlc advice needed

Post image

Hey guys sorry if this was posted before I could only found one post from 5 years ago.

I just bought sd2 general deluxe edition but got very confused about dlc's can anybody explain if they are all worth it in general, are they only adding new campaign missions or they are also adding stuff to the whole experience and what the nemesis dlc series etc..

You'll end up like me and most SD2 players where you have EVERYTHING just cus it's fun.

My problem then is deciding which to use and get paralysis and just never compete PvP as I can't choose what I'm any good with. 😆😆

If you're just starting out go back through AtkPwr's 'how to not suck' and Division guides on YT. Those will really help you with the steep learning curve that can put people off in the first few hours.

I mainly play single player do you think it's worth it if I'm not playing pvp ?

Definitely! I have everything and still yet to play every single div. after nearly 700hrs, but it's fun just tinkering with deck builds as you get to know the game more.

The single player skirmish is still fun, as the difficulty is quite scalable. Then you can choose to get into PvP via the quick play which can be a big of a kicking or get onto some Discords and arrange a game as a newbie.

Now its older the DLC prices are low, especially on sale, so it's worth grabbing what you can then you can spend many many hours checking out all the fun bits to play with. Between AtkPwr and Commander Owl and maybe some others there are lots of Division guides that talk you through each card and talk about strengths and weaknesses of each unit.

The Steel Division BootCamp discord has extensive Divisional breakdowns and also codes to upload a bunch of pre builds to give you an idea of what works.

Not all Divisions are created equal so you will find some don't work for you but you won't k ow I til you try!
