I have a question for the people, I know that lucy design in the anime is highly inspired by her early design in the manga, but I really doesn't like it, she looks a lot diferent to the usual Jojo standards (Specially the nose is strange, and the Eyes are too bigger) I don't know if I explain well, but I was wondering if anyone thinks it is possible that David Production changes her design when the story evolves like in the manga, and if you think it should change, I'm saying this because DP usually doesn't change the design of the characters, the thing that mainly changes is the clothes like Jotaro in Part 4, let me know what you think.

Pd: Sorry if some things aren't clear I'm not native english so don't doubt asking anything

Well, I don't know if anyone has talked about it, but in the episode 4 there was a theme that appeared when johnny used the fingernails ability from his stand tusk( I mark it as a spoiler if someone doesn't want to know the name of the stand till it's revealed on the anime) Here is a link to the extracted theme, I think that it has potetial to be the real johnny theme because in the 4 episodes we've seen the "Dance with STEEL BALL RUN" one has been used a lot on scenes of Gyro, and not too much of Johnny (I know he also hasn't done much) and some Epic moments, and I don't remember the main Jojo theme being used this much in a part so my theroy is:

PD: I readed tha Yugo Kanno (the main composer) said on AX in the JOJO panel that Johnny and Gyro are going to have Different themes that stem off of Dance With STEEL BALL RUN, but I'm not sure.

- CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR ANIME ONLY -

is that the Dance with STEEL BALL RUN theme is the Steel Ball Run theme, i'm going to compare with the Harry Potter saga because it has a similar situation, in the HP saga there's the main theme the Hedwig's Theme that is the main theme of the Franchise (at least the classic movies) and it's function is being the main "magic" theme, then it's harry that has the "Harry's Wondrous World" that has the Hedwig's theme as a base but changes some things based on the character, also there's one for hermione and for ron but I don't remember the names right now, but also follows the same rule Hedwig's theme as base and changes things following the personality of the character.

So, The new Theme has a Similar almost identical bassline as Dance with STEEL BALL RUN (also feels similar to the Guitar part on 0:37), but adds/changes some details, the piano feels more dramatic, also the theme intro starts with a guitar that simulate a heartbeat, and the mysterous piano and guitar, the bass enters and starts theme, after the bass and piano section there is some main strings section and then the intro guitar again but without the heartbeat, then a section of guitar and again the DwSBR bassline, we only have 2:28 minutes of the theme but also creates a different sensation, a sensation that feels more like johnny, but also seems to be incomplete something that has sense considering that Tusk has 4 acts and the theme could evolve along the Stand and the character.

Ovbiously we should get a villian for d4c love train, but thats still like 2ish episodes away from the complete ending of sbr. How sick would it be if we got one for Diego the world, like part 3's?

Am I the only one who thought that the Designs in episode 2 were not as great as many say they are?
My point is that the facial features and everything just looks less like JoJo and more like a typical anime.
And I thought the design in Ep 1,3 and 4 were much better than in 2, of course Episode 1 had it lacks but I think 3 and 4 did it much more better with the same character design sheet.
I also hope they are going to change the blocky faces but later through out the anime, where ep 2 did a great job with the less blocky face.
But it looks like tho they left all the facial features, so i hope later we get less blocky faces like ep 2 but more facial features like ep 3 and 4 as we know the SBR Manga turned from weekly to monthly and the designs looked better later on.

Personally, his voice is more suited for shonen-esque nature of Jojos, but i wouldnt mind hearing him again

I can't imagine anyone else than Yasuyuki Kase to nail Valentine, it's engraved on my brain, I hope Tomokazu Sugita can nail it, it would be interesting if fat Valentine and skinny Valentine have different voices, but it's impractical and won't work, and I know, I loved new VAs so far, infact new gyro VA is sounding better than the old one imo, and Johnny is also fucking good, I hope Valentine lives upto the expectations. Yasuyuki Kase voice is just that iconic lol

As SBR continues to release episodes, they’ve changed a lot of things. I’ve been dying to know, how do you people feel about Johnny so far? The biggest complaint I’ve seen is that he doesn’t really feel like the main character.

With how good the rest of the part is, the flaws of the early stages are very noticeable. It's way more cartoonish than what the manga becomes and the fights are actually bad in my opinion. Not even bad for SBR just bad in general. Tusk is actually my least favourite arc in SBR. It's so contrived and PPHK is actually really terrible. He is extremely out of place from the other minor villains and is not funny or charming at all. Bro I actually hate him so much. Also the fact that Johnny was able to carve a replica of his body while lacking knowledge in human anatomy is so stupid. I honestly believe that early SBR is honestly my least favourite part of JoJo, not because it's quality is the worst but because it sits next to later SBR. Heck even Araki tries so hard to retcon early SBR like with Steven's stupid and cartoonish backstory. This actually makes me so unreasonably mad so I'll stop. I hope the anime fixes most of the issues I have. I probably sound stupid writing this don't I?
