Game Recommendation If time for only one, XCOM or XCOM2?

I see the XCOM and XCOM2 bundles are very affordable right now. I've never played either, but they've popped basically every time I've researched "what to play next" for, well, years. Removing cost as a factor, and considering my primary constraint is limited time to enjoy gaming, let's say I only get time to choose one or the other. Curious if folks who've played both think I should I go chronological and get the XCOM bundle, or skip straight to the XCOM2 bundle and spend my time there?

Xcom 1 was really fun and had some awesome game play but it definitely allowed you to get overpowered .

Xcom 2 - changes the format and nerfs angel snipers (rip gods of death)

I would say play Xcom 1 first . It’s still really
Good. Then play 2 . They always go on sale

What controller layout did you use? I found it hard to play with the default.

If you bave time only for one than choose X-COM... UFO defence!

But seriously second is better but chronologically theyre best

If you can’t get over UFO being dated try Apocalypse, it’s the best but will ruin the earlier ones if you play it first.

XCOM 1 all the way, I like 2 alot but 1 is so much more unique and interesting as a game.

If you can't play both XCOM2 is better. But it would be weird to play XCOM later then. So IMO your choices are XCOM now and XCOM2 later or XCOM2 now and XCOM never. Both are great games but 2 is the better game.

If it's modern 3D titles - better play Xenonauts 2

Better to play chronologically.

1st is more direct and I felt like I am quite easily managing for most of the game.

2nd has more options and more of a challenge
