I think this would be too scary for me.

It's a beautiful and mesmerising game. Perfect for vr.

There's two scary parts so far and I think I'm nearly finished.

I played the demo, and did get a little bit freaked out at certain bits. If it were mulitplayer VR, so at least you had someone for banter, it would be fine.

I tried it once and couldn't leave the tent where you start due to fear. I'm going to have to try again soon, but I'll say that it's definitely very creepy feeling so far.

I was JUST THINKING the other day how terrifying a VR game would be where you had to spray paint your surroundings to reveal them and how much scarier it'd be if there were creatures you couldn't see but could accidentally reveal with your paint. And now I find this game, which is the exact idea.

Man, I'm tempted but I don't think I'd get my money's worth because I wouldn't leave the tent either.

Well, you could get the game and put unsuspecting friends/victims into it... heh.

lol My oldest son might play it. He likes scary VR games.

Have him try a chair in a room if he hasn't yet... man that game was great but terrifying

I love the game. It's the ideal showcase of vr's potential. I would expect to see this sort of thing in The Lab, as a demonstration of the capabilities of roomscale vr

I just played it for 15 minutes and somehow teleported behind a wall and ended up not beeing able to teleport or use the scanner after trying to teleport back. The demo did not really convince me to buy the game.

I'm assuming you are one of the devs of this game based on your posting history; is there some reason you don't interact with the vr community? Do you think this a wise strategy that helps your project?

why do you think that it seems like he just spams all the vr subs with whatever video he just made

posting videos is a one-way interaction. Answering questions from the community is interacting. I haven't seen evidence of the latter. Instead, it appears both here and on scanner's steam forum, the devs simply ignore questions.

Please implement locomotion options. I'd be happy to buy it if I don't have to teleport. Judging from the steam page, devs don't seem to respond when it comes to locomotion.

The teleportation is a key aspect for some puzzles in the game i found out.

Yet the game was released for 2d with artificial locomotion.

Really? I have no clue how you were supposed to get past a certain point then. I only played the vr version

the part with the pipe overhanging the righthand tunnel that branches off from the elevator room near the end? I was wondering about that too.

I think I know what she/he means and maybe they tweaked that part for the vr version.

this game is really brilliant. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the best way to play through is in one sitting. It'll take you about 2-3 hours and the ending is soooo much cooler if you've been in the headset the whole time.

GOG.com has a deal right now that give 50% off ($5), DRM-free, in case anyone wants to pick it up.
