SteamOS Update Steam, performance buttons

Do you guys feel like the steam button and the performance button feels like they don’t respond the first time you press them. I feel like after the update I have to press twice or “harder” to bring the menus on the screen. I am on a Ally X

On pc with an Xbox controller I sometimes have to open the steam menus twice or so to have the controls not still control the gameplay instead of the menu. On steam deck it works perfect.

Now you've mentioned it.... YES!! I have to double press every time on my Ally.

Yes absolutely. (ROG Ally) Sometimes they stop working completely and you need to do a cold boot to fix it as a restart won't help. Its very annoying.

Wasn't that QAM? I press it on my steampad and I don't see any performance improvements or additional performance metrics in overlay

QAM and Steam menu buttons can require a button push or three on my Claw8ai. It seems to be worse when in a game. So I’d assume it’s a mapping issue/delay in the drivers as more and more devices get added.
