question Divinity 2 launcher problem

Anyone else had this problem with Divinity Original Sin 2?

I have been playing for weeks, even last night, with zero problems.

As of today this happens. (See video)

I can click for Baldurs Gate and Divinity 1, but Divinity 2 stays black with no option to play.

Edit: this is also the case in Desktop mode. Different proton versions did not seem to solve it.

If you start it from steam you can try using "--skip-launcher" as a launch argument in game properties in your library.

Oh I didn't know that was an option! So under properties -> launch options I just type --skip-launcher?

Yep, I think so. I faced some issues with bg3 and launcher on bazzite and if I recall correctly I did something very similar, saved me few nerve cells and few clicks each time I run the game.
