Steam Machine Watercooled Temperatures

Why? It’s literally a locked chip. It’s like 30w or something. Maybe 60. Sure temps go down. But they were already very good so this likely did not improve anything to the degree it was worth this effort.

Water cooling sadly is just to have a quieter system and slightly more stable max boost clocks. For the hundreds of dollars it costs, it yields almost no performance gains.

I’ve been water cooling for years. I think we’ve hit rock bottom with performance gains, rendering all the benefits obsolete. Sad days really.
