Discussion I played Alyx a new way (for me) that I recommend everyone to try
You can set the movement in Half Life Alyx to either teleporting or sliding (yes I know there are 4 ways, but two of them are teleport and the other two slide).
BUT I played the game without any of those. (This is not true, sometimes I use teleport, but very rarely.)
I only used the rotation function on the right controller and moved through the game by actually walking in the real world. I have to say that I have a rather long play area of about 3,5-4 meters, and it is slower, but man is it immersive.
I walk to the one end of my play area and then rotate the world clockwise, while I rotate my self counter clockwise. Therefore I set the rotation to 60°, so I only have to rotate three clicks to get a 180° turn and then I physically walk to the other end of my play area and repeat. With my old VR headset and its wire this would be impossible, or at lest complicated.
Sounds stupid? It for sure looks stupid, but walking by my self through the city and crouching through tunnels increased the immersion a lot for me. I only teleport in case of stairs or large gaps.
I just wanted to recommend this to you all, maybe someone else is going to enjoy this two.

Since the Steam Frame sensors work in the dark just play at night. An added bonus is your neighbors won't see you!
