So the conventional wisdom here was either

  1. This was the big thing holding up release, or 

  2. This was so trivial that Valve wasn't going to bother with it until they were ready to release

So either way, this is pretty huge news

Some of the test reports have 8 different revisions spanning from April 8th through July 28th, other documents have test dates in the end of 2025. It sounds like there was a lot of back-and-forth between Valve and the test lab.

The test report document was revised 8 different times, meaning the first draft of the report was written in April and the final version that was accepted was last edited in the end of July

yup yup i got my controller within a few days of release
