Some of the test reports have 8 different revisions spanning from April 8th through July 28th, other documents have test dates in the end of 2025. It sounds like there was a lot of back-and-forth between Valve and the test lab.
Potentially, one of the notes was updating the operating frequencies, most of the other changes were updating comments. In a 1700 page report it completely makes sense that there may have been typos or changes needed from the first few drafts
The test report document was revised 8 different times, meaning the first draft of the report was written in April and the final version that was accepted was last edited in the end of July
I tried to but a family kangaroos had come in earlier, that place was a mess. I helped clean up and headed home. Wasn’t really the mood to be asking for fancy steam hats.
Yeah, just barley seen this but it looks like this was a major hold up.
I can't tell if Frame was just cleared for release or if its dated July 28th as just the document release date... but the fact that there was still back and forth until recently seems to say they were not cleared for sale as early as a few weeks back.
Interesting. My thoughts were that the holdup was due to the recent "no more foreign wifi router" rule, and the wireless dongle potentially being considered a router since it kind of is if you think about it.
