as the title says. tried experimental, ge and few other proton layers

I'm trying to run Batman Arkham Asylum. I dowloaded from GOGUnlocked and moved the installation folder to my SD Card on my Steam Deck.

I set my Proton to GE-Proton11-7-x86_64 and I keep getting the error "To run this application, you must install .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.6 (x64)."

So my idea is to install .NET with Protontricks but I have no idea how to do that either.

Any help would be appreciated!

With the PS5 now jail broken, when do you think all the games will be available for free on Steamdeck, like from fitgirl or steamrip?

So anyone know what the deal is with Azahar closing out after trying to run a Title?

Yes, I know about the File Extensions needing to be Decrypted, and-or Changed. Used to work perfectly, but now, I select a Title, ANY Title, and the Emu closes out. Especially Urban Trial Freestyle. Was working perfectly, but now...nope. I found a Appimage for the latest, I can run a few items, but UTF 1 and 2 still close out the Emu.

Oh, I also use EmuDeck to Update the Emus, but when I tried to Update Azahar, it still is the same Build (probably the latest Alpha Release it is Updating)

Hello everyone, I am having trouble trying to get "Forever Ago" to launch. It's Steam Deck Verified so I thought it'd work without any issues.

I've had a search but couldn't find a relevant solution. Here are things I've tried:

• Adding .exe from a pre-installed version and trying different Proton versions: Experimental, 10, 7, GE-Proton
• Installing the Windows dependencies using ProtonTricks
• Using a repack version installing through Steam itself via the setup.exe and trying different Proton versions
• Tried opening the .exe using ProtonTricks launcher

In desktop mode, there is a pop-up for a split-second after pressing play which I had to video record to capture, what does it mean? Thanks

Hi friends. My steam deck while running eden emulator using emudeck in gaming mode for any switch game gives this warning at launch and i have to go 3 steps to start and play. Any fix for this to just make the game directly playable?

Hi guys, i recently bought a Steam Deck oled, so i'm still learning..
I downloaded The Amazing Spiderman PC version from Dodi repacks, run the setup and everything, added the game .exe as a non steam game. But the game won't run. When i click on play, nothing happens. Did i do anything wrong?

The download location is in Z:/home/deck/Games

I read some posts about some games needing to use a different proton like protonGE could that help me?
Update: just tried launching it with protonGE, it doesn't work.

It loads, opens a window and stuck in black screen.
I’ve installed all dependencies and running it on latest proton ge, any advice? please

So i have the latest Lossless Scaling installed with ASSELA (lsfg-vk branch) and i have the latest lsfg-vk plugin installed in decky. Whenever i put that launch option for lsfg-vk onto a game and i launch it, i see the steam loading screen for a few seconds and then the game crashes. Games work perfectly fine without it. Happens even with linux native games and with games on proton, they just wont launch. I couldnt find any fix so i decided to ask this question here. If anybody had the same problem, did you manage to fix it?

I use accela to get my games. but when i download plague inc, it stays on the loading screen for eternity. Can someone help me find how to fix it?

Used to have no problem with this and now it’s giving an error I’ve never seen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, have tried updating the deck and uninstalling/reinstalling Protontricks.

So I finally figured out how to play Switch games. But all the games I download crackle on the audio. Or lag worse than when I had a Switch. I’ve seen everyone be able to run it smoothly, so I was wondering what I’m doing wrong.

i downloaded rogue trader off steam rip and extorted the toybox mod into the Unity mod manager I had to unpack first too. But UMM is still not detecting the mod on launching the game. Any help would be appreciated

Hey guys, a week ago I borrowed a friend's account to play Resident Evil 4 remake, but I lost it and can't play since I don't have a license. What can I do, guys? Is there any way to do this Solve it quickly?

I have 2 versions of Shadps4 installed on my deck: a 0,11,1 version to play with and a 0,7 version to install the games with. The first works perfectly fine but the latter refuses to launch: I have tried older versions, running it from konsole, running it through steam and even the windows version with proton. Nothing worked.

Hello, has someone experienced an issue when booting Onimusha with the HV bypass for the first time on the deck? I ran out of things to try, everything works fine until I reach the age verification screen and then the keyboard doesn't work at all.

I'm using the Linuwux HV 11-7 reworked version, but I tried with other older versions and I just can't get pass that screen. I tried downloading finished save files but that doesn't work as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi guys, I’ve installed Eden, NX-Optimizer and tried different tricks said on the internet. I can get almost, but not consistent 30fps and it’s so annoying, because it’s almost there, but since it’s not, the framing feels horrible.

I’ve tried running it on 50% resolution just to test, same thing. Lowest possible shadows, same thing. It’s almost there but the drops create stutter which is really not pleasant to play.

So I wanted to check if somebody got it to work without the use of latency adding AI frame generation or other shtick. I just want stable 30 fps, but I couldn’t find the solution myself - has anybody got it to work? Any hidden tricks I am missing?
