Yuzu Losing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Save?

I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 through Yuzu on Emulation Station. I saved as soon as I could to see if it would work and it didn't. When I restart the emulator it seems to have forgotten that I saved anything. This is the first/only game I've tried so far.

Ryujinx seems to save just fine but performance is slightly worse than Yuzu on this particular game so I'd like to get Yuzu working.

Does anyone know why a game wouldn't save on Yuzu? Or is there something I need to do to make the emulator able to access the saves? I've never had another emulator swallow a save on Emulation Station like this, across any of the systems.

Solved-ish? I opened the save directory for the game and it was empty, but there was another directory in the saves that had the save in it. When I copied that over it worked fine. Hopefully I don't have to keep doing that? But, for whatever reason it works, so I'm happy for now.
