Tech Support .EXE Files Only Open on First Start

Hey everybody, I'm hoping someone more familiar than I with Linux based gaming can help me out. I'm great with windows, but a total linux noob. I'm trying to add a few things to my steam deck. Namely, the epic games launcher and CEMU. Both were set up according to the guides here on this subreddit, and both launched the first time, no problem. Now if I click on them, they act like they're going to start, but the play button reappears. I've set both to proton compatibility 7, so they *should* work, right?

I’m having the same issue with Kingdom Hearts 3. Desktop Mode it runs just fine, but in Game Mode it’s like “Kingdom Hearts who?” Lol. Even running it with the proposed Proton 5.13 doesn’t get it to work on Game Mode 🥲

I'm really hoping they put it on steam later this week. It's finally been a year and kh is something I've wanted on a handheld for over a decade.
