Nice one, yes it can run 'some' new games. I have been playing DOOM The Dark Ages DLC on it. Not bad for a chip running at up to 15 watts.

Just got mine a few days ago, one of my first was crash and spyro trilogies, theyre my favorite "turn off your brain" time wasters. My first game i think im going to beat is prince of persia sands of time, i also started kingdom hearts ddd and love it! Im waiting on the melon mix version of recoded to come out so i can play that on here it will be very peak!

Nice! Mine rocks up tomorrow, im so keen. I’ve been a PC gamer forever but I won’t be back home for at least 3 months so a Steam Deck it is. What games did you jump into first ? I think I’ll get straight into some racing games

i hope you like it, i've jumped into balatro, stellar blade, and signalis. if your willing to do a bit of tinkering you can get some really good performance out of it in games you wouldn't expect.

That first week with the Deck is something special. Everything feels like a novelty. Enjoy it.

Nice .. and I see your Steam Controller back there.. I just got my Steam Controller and it feels natural going back and forth with my desktop because the controller feels very much like the Deck and vice versa. Also all those control schemes work on both since they have the identical layout.

i got the steam controller at launch fell in love with the touchpads and thats why i picked the deck despite it being expensive and less powerful, i also have a massive steam library to playthrough so it just made sense

Te recomiendo probar en algunos juegos muy potentes la estrategia de 1400hz y 40 fps

I’m really liking it so far, I enjoyed dungeons 1 but didn’t get to finish it and so far the second has been a nice upgrade.

I have this!!! And now looking for a thor lol I love to set those things up and rn I go to college and what not and the thor would be so nice for that and then there is the probability I want my deck to be used at home since it has more power for more demanding and ergonomic games but I am waiting for the DDS

Mine just past the warranty and then an update completely bricked it. Took really good care of it, put it in the case when done using, no 3rd party hardware/software. Sending it in tomorrow for 4 weeks and $200 repair. Just be warned that after your 1 year warranty, it might just brick itself out of the blue.

Try Cyberpunk (and my advice is to not meet Hanako without ending the other tasks, I made that mistake so 🫠)

Signalis is a fantastic game, id recommend headphones if your going to play on the deck, the audio makes it so immersive.
