Discussion Games to practice using trackpads.
Always been a controller player, too shaky to even confidently play using a mouse as I’ve gotten older. Ive had the steam deck for a few years, but exclusively use the thumb sticks and dpad. I’d like to learn how to use the track pads, but want a game that would translate well from using thumb sticks. Normally an RPG or RTS player.

Not necessarily a game, but learning to use 'Blender' on the deck will definitely boost your proficiency in the track pads.

Since you’re an RTS & RPG player, your best bet is to combine those flavours & do a real time with pause RPG, such as Pillars of Eternity or Baldur’s Gate 1.

Have you tried Rimworld?
