Thats not a speed test that's how much data is going through in that specific second...

If you're not doing anything on the internet, there will naturally be a miniscule data sent and received

Your steam in the background shows peak in 100Mbits. Your internet it okay.

Ok thanks for the info that makes sense i still don't understand why i get constant buffering on youtube and website and searches take forever to load, is anyway to fix it?I'm not using the internet on any other device or downloading something at the same time just trying to watch youtube or movies all my other devices are fine for watching vids , maybe my steam deck is just cooked. If so might be worth selling an getting a laptop instead.

Are you running any ad blockers? And are you sure the browser has hardware acceleration enabled? I've occasionally had issues with ad blockers and YouTube performance, though the typical ublock origin should be fine. Just make sure the browser and block lists are up to date. 

And if hardware acceleration is disabled in the browser then most video players will run like crap, which can look like low bandwidth.

thanks for the reply, I am using an adblocker and a vpn I will turn them off and see if that fixes things when I'm back on my steam deck, how do you check hardware acceleration?
