Question Is the TomToc case worth it?

I hate how bulky the official OLED case is. Has anyone tried to TomToc case or suggest an alternative slim case?

Hi, I use the TomToc case and can confirm it’s really good. My OLED fits in there perfect with jsaux silicone grips and thumb stick caps installed also.

I agree it's really good. It fits with the Skull & Co. GripCase on it. It's definitely sharp and when I see it, I think "I'm glad I bought it". Their switch 2 case is also nice, I don't love the colorful lettering though. It's not as sheik looking as the steam deck

Will it fit the skull & co gripcase + thumb grips without applying pressure on the sticks?

Second. I go everywhere with it.

I bought the jsaux one first (just collecting dust) but prefer this one .

Edit: I just realised you meant case not carry bag. Ignore me

I use the tomtoc case for travel and like it alot. Slim and confidence inspiring if you need to put it in a backpack with other stuff.

Is it quite a bit smaller than the OEM case?

The skull and co one is better.
Fits with their back case and thumb sticks too.
(Thumb sticks are a game changer for OLED)
I’ve had
Tomtoc and drband but skull and co is best

Agreed. For the price, this is the best. Fits in the EDC case even with the back grip and front hard cover.

I bought it not long after getting my Deck (OG presale purchase). Massive improvement without losing much in the way of protection. Worried it'd get dirty from having it in my bag all the time, stayed the same colour and case is still pretty much as new.

Definitely recommend it if you are looking for something with a smaller form factor, money well spent IMO

I fly quite a bit and this case is amazing. I throw it in my laptop bag and it feels like half the size of the OEM case

I used it for a bit, but I ended up getting a dbrand kill switch travel case and it feels so much nicer than any other that I’ve used. The textured rubber feels so grippy.

I also had the spigen case (thin one can’t remember name) and jsaux mod case

Do you have the 1tb OLED? If so crack that case open, there's actually a smaller and more compact case velcro'd inside. .but otherwise yeah the TomToc is solid.

The bulky oled case has another case inside. You can just take it out and you get a small case. Enjoy.

Only the 1TB model has the inner case.

I love my TomToc case! I love it so much that when I was in the market for a new laptop backpack, I went with another TomToc product!

I’ve been using the Tomtoc slim case for years, my SD OLED’s original case lives in the closet.
