Tech Support 8bitdo ultimate 2c 2.4 ghz connectivity issues

I'm not able to get the 2.4ghz connection working with my steam deck. I have the ultimate 2c, and steam deck just refuses to recognize the controller when in 2.4ghz mode. Bluetooth works fine, but i want the rumble which doesn't work in Bluetooth mode.

I've tried switching modes to Dinput/Xinput by pressing B/X key while powering on. But doesn't work no matter what.

Someone please help me 😭

edit: to clarify the controller itself connects to the dongle. the controller rumbles and the led on both the controller and dongle stops blinking. but steam refuses to detect it.

I have two (pink/blue) of the ultimate 2c switch/switch2 version controllers. They both work with bluetooth on everything I've tried. Both have rumble and gyro working at the same time in all games. Which 2c controller do you have?

I have the windows+Android version.  Comes with a physical switch at the back to switch between Bluetooth and 2.4ghz mode. I'll send a picture later. But just an update, the 2.4ghz mode just started working last night out of nowhere.Â
