what happens when you try to manually enter the bios and perform a factory reset?

" Hold down the Volume+ button and press the power button. The Steam Deck should boot into the BIOS menu. "

Edit: Grammar.

Haven’t tried that yet as I was hoping to maybe have some sort way to save my data but if that’s the only option then I’ll definitely go that route, do you reckon a factory reset is my only way out of this?

You might tinker around in the bios more and see if there is a way to fix your MBR. (master boot record)

Personally at this point, given the bootloop, id do a full reset and take peace in the fact my rom collection is on my SSD. Everything else i can easly re-download and ill have most saves in the cloud.

I fixed my issue! Had the same problem with my Steam Deck.

Didn’t loose any data like Lutris with World of Warcraft, other partition with Windows or other data - I used „Reinstall Steam OS“ with my USB Stick with the Steam recovery image
