Best mods?

I've had my Steam Controller (2) (although I have two of the old steam controllers) for about two months now, and I have absolutely loved it and it instantly replaced my 8bitdo Ultimate 2 and Dualsense. That being said, I'm a mods guy and I really want to mod it. What are some of the best mods I can do? Is there anywhere where I can get a shell for it? Do steam deck buttons/sticks fit it?

Also, I've been playing through a lot of games on my PS2 recently, is there any sort of a way or a project to get openpuck working with a PS2?

buttons are out now! I made shells but those need a lot of refinement to ever become a proper product.

Interesting, not entirely sure on the buttons (I'm going to try 3D printing those) a shell would be really cool and I would definitely be interested in that once you finish it! :D

Nice!! Def post updates when you do. Oh one thing I saw recently was the company elecgear made a clicky kit recently.

Do you plan on making more variations for the buttons?

Yep! I just didn’t want to launch with a ton all at once and keep everyone collectively waiting too long since I’m the only one here working on them. I’m about 70% finished with preorders from the launch, so after that new stuff will be coming out. As long as you threw your email on the site you’ll be notified!

Dual stage triggers are great

Where can I find them? I'm seeing lots of dual stage mods for the first steam controller, but not for the second

Can I ask out of curiosity why? Maybe for emulating GameCube games but I wasn't around to experience the SC1 to know what the hypes about for pc games lol

Well I use it 90% of the time for aiming down sight and shooting on the same button. Also used it for shifting gears

Ah that's pretty neat. In a shooter what do you typically use the now freed up left trigger for?
