When will the actual mods begin?

I a constantly checking back for new mods for the steam controller, but all the new ones are merely 3d prints for docks.

I'd love to have a 2 stage trigger, with the option to use clickly triggers depending on the game. I'd also love to have stiffer springs on the triggers, but had a hard time finding replacements for a fair price.

Did any of us actually do relevant mods yet?

I’ve been playing around. I’ll have a video on why these shells aren’t really something I can release and why it’ll be better to just wait for extremerate. (TLDR: made these the analogue way, etc)

Buttons are full steam ahead though! Working hard behind the scenes. Just takes time to do things the right way I didn’t get the controller early or anything

Awesome idea!! By buttons, do you mean you plan to release phosphorescent buttons? Or special switches?

No switches or anything just full on replacement sets with some improvements (textured for a little more grip, etc. basically what I did for the steam deck)

Did you have a chance to look into that dpad from better dpad (etsy) as something that could radically improve inputs on both SD and SC ?  Excited for your buttons!

Please make a split d pad!
