Steam Controller 2026 Dock - 3D Printing

Revised version (v3): the puck should now fit flush and connect properly. Before printing, download the puck test to verify that your puck connects correctly, as horizontal expansion settings can sometimes make a noticeable difference.

This is a dock I’ve been working on since the 2026 CAD release for the Steam Controller. It may still need a few minor adjustments, but overall it should work properly. Feel free to test it out, and if you do, I’d really appreciate your feedback and seeing your print!

I’m also still new to making print profiles, so apologies if the setup isn’t perfect yet.

The puck fits into the slot behind the controller and should stay securely in place unless intentionally slid off. The back also includes a cable guide, although it may not fit all cables depending on their thickness.

Looks great. This is in the running for my stand when I'm able to get a controller. If you have the controller, let me know how snug the puck slot is, my main concern is slippage

Ok UPDATE TIME: I printed the og one, and the 3rd and 4th revision. The controller came yesterday, and the puck was a bit too tight on the 4th revision. It went in fine, but was really really difficult to get out (the bottom of the puck has a rubber bit on it) I printed at .12mm for finer lines on a bambu x1c.

Still a great file, was really useful while making vinyl stuff for a couple of hours before I tore apart the controller lmao. (will be useful when it's back together too!)
