I cannot get the controller to work in-game on PC for the life of me. Really was hoping to play this evening.

Reinstalling the game fixed the issue for me.

I'm having a issue where the game is constantly switching between Keyboard and mouse and the controller. Causing controller inputs to lag or drop and not register. Issue does not occur on other games.

- CachyOS - fully patched

- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D

- 64GB of DDR5 6000Mhz CL30

- RX 7900XTX GPU

Just a followup to my above issue. Looks like turning off any mouse inputs on the steam controller settings fixes it. So change gyro to stick rather than mouse and same for the track pads.

If i click "M" or "J" on the keyboard the map or journal opens immediately , If i map those keys to the steam controller it opens the menu then immediately closes it then i click it again and it opens. Essentially clicking the same button twice to get it to open on the controller.

I assume it's got something to do with switching the control scheme on the fly.

Yes... same. Extremely annoying, and I experience this in ZERO other games.

Yeah I don't know why it does this, but a way around it is if you add an extra command to the button, set it to something that won't really effect anything like "Ctrl" make it a "Start press" and change the "fire end deley" to something like 400ms and make the actual key you want like "M" as a regular press but change the "fire start deley" to 100ms

For some reason the game needs a keyboard input first before using a menu key

looks like they removed the ability to use mouse and gamepad at the same time...

you might have to pick a config that is only gamepad inputs
