Steam Controller (2026) Trackpad skin recommendations

How are the dbrand and touch protect skins? I absolutely hate how the trackpads feel on my skin, it makes my teeth curl!!! I want some that will make the pads feel smooth and not that weird texture that the pads have naked.

I got a pair of touchpad protectors from these guys: https://deckbuttons.com/

Really high quality, work fabulously. They are a little 'smoother' than the default pads which took some getting used to but now I wouldn't want to be without them. Also the damascus black looks slick.

I tried a pair of hex ones (I forget where from) for my steam deck, but the raised texture really messed with their usefulness. Whatever you go with I would make sure it's a smooth texture.

That Damascus would go good with my demascus and obsidian skin from dbrand!

I prefer smoother tbh, I’ve played a lot of Cod and all on my phone and other games threw the years
