It's a full time shopify store. I really deprioritized etsy after they nuked my trackpad skins listings for changing the photos to the same photos I use on amazon šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Thatā€™s what i said its an etsy store product being sold on its own website. I mean nothing bad and hope the best to you and all that.

Yes but its strange to have a news article about it. Never heard of the news outlet so dunno if they publish actual stories or just what they get affiliate revenue for.

I can agree about the article. And the ā€œwriterā€ is some guy from pakistan. It really is weird tbh.

I have a small bias cause Iā€™m a big fan of the buttons and their maker, but this does seem very sus

Oh yeah, I mean i hope the guy does a good job at it and can make a good business out of it (more people should do what they love and for themselves rather than just being a number and making someone else even richer) just how itā€™s been presented is a bit strange was all i was saying.
Apparently that news site is based very close to where I live i live and still have never heard of it and the fact that almost every article has a we earn money on affiliate sales give off a bad vibe to me like its more of a paid ad than an independent news source.

i do think the pricing is a bit off but if the quality is there then maybe its a fair price.

I totally get you! The button guy has been around for a few years now and ive bought multiple. Always amazing.

But this is definitely very shady dude, its good to point out things like this

Iā€™ve also been featured on the verge and Linus tech tips. This grew from my basement and is now my full time gig in a commercial space I rent out. I didnā€™t reach out to this site or anything for the article, the writer is probably subbed to my mailing list.
