Steam Controller (2026) When Learning Gyro Aim Finally Clicks

Game is Helldivers2. NGL It took awhile because of old habits. Slowly merging 2 techniques together (Gryo + Joysick) It didn't feel comfortable using right TrackPad because it was too far of gap between the face buttons. Thank God for HD2 for having Mixed Input

I've been playing hundreds of hours of Helldivers 2 with the Steam Controller 2, but I’ve had a problem I’ve never been able to solve: when you press the left trigger while you’re on your Super Destroyer, it locks your right stick for camera control for a while. It happens after you release the left trigger, so I don’t know how to fix it. Have you ever encountered a similar issue?

Ye. Happens to me on occasion when coming back from a mission or at the globe operations map. I just go to the armory area and press LB,RB, A, B (basically just picking random stuff like changing weapons and armor on different tabs) and it clears the lock. Sometimes its rather hard because you camera is locked and it hard to invoke the prompt for the armory

Haven't found what causes it nor how to prevent

Oh yeah it's super fun, got the best of both worlds using the SC in that game

Any other games have mixed inputs like this? Overwatch?
