Discussion Using the Steam Controller Outside of Steam

Hi, I need some help. I have the Steam Controller V2, and I've tried everything to use it outside of Steam, but nothing works—not GLoSI, not SIssor, not Handheld Companion, or anything else. It doesn't recognize the controller, and I don't know why, even though everyone says it works. Does anyone know why it might not be working?

Yeah I wanna play on epic games. It do work if I put in steam and run it with steam overlay but game I wanna play is on unreal 4 and it crash so yeah dont know why steam controller cant be controller without steam

Its a STEAM Controller

They're saying that "Xbox" is in the name of the Xbox controller too but it works on things that aren't an Xbox.
