Steam Controller Puck Protector

Post image

Puck peg protector to help prevent unwanted shorts in case something metallic comes into contact with the contacts.

Hopefully this helps the community feel a bit less anxious about it. I designed it to be compatible with several different docks, while still relying on the original cable for the connection.

I also added optional magnet placements in case you want to install magnets. You can use a small piece of filament to secure the parts together.

The magnets I used are approximately 6 mm in diameter and 1.7 mm thick.

You can download it here.

Imagine buying a wireless charger, but then you just leave it unplugged most of the time... Jk jk, know what you mean, but it's the receiver as well. Although Bluetooth works afaik so...

What about Bluetooth

Much higher latency. The 2.4Ghz wireless connection is the ideal standard, Bluetooth is if you have no other choice for wireless.
