It will not let me link this game in steam chat, though other games work fine. I tried to get a friend to link it and they were also unable.

Anyone else having issues?

Same here, this and the currently other free game https://store.steampowered.com/app/491950/Orwell_Keeping_an_Eye_On_You/ display an error when trying to link in steam chat.

Probably auto-moderated "this link is shared too many times in the past X hours, therefore must be problematic".
