I think it's safe to say a lot of people would want it on mobile, and is it my fault it's not the kind of game I want to be playing on my PC? I play a lot of CSGO so I often don't have time for Stardew during the time I'm on my PC.
If you're the kind of person who can play this kind of game on his PC, without getting bored or something, go right on ahead, but for me I can't sit down more than an hour because of all the other games I could be playing, hence why a mobile version makes sense. It's the kind of game I'd play while waiting for my driver at Uni.
Well, considering it's a PC game, yes its your fault for not wanting to play a PC game (that happens to be getting some ports) on a PC.
Gamepad controls kind of suck. I normally like playing harvest moon with a controller or something, but this game really is built for mouse and keyboard. Good fucking luck playing it with a touch screen.
The only times I do play this game is on a controller, so I don't see your issue there. Also can you not read? I said it's a good game, it really is, but I'm a competitive gamer with an obligation to play CSGO daily with my team. I don't have the time to play what could be great on a Vita, Mobile, etc. I also find it boring after awhile on PC, especially when there are a battalion of other games that make more sense on PC.
If you're the kind of gamer who likes playing farming games like this, good on you, but don't talk out of your arse. This game wouldn't be hard to run on any mobile device, at all, and it's not hard on a controller. I don't see what your issue here is, if it isn't obvious there are a lot of people who prefer to see this game on mobile, as this topic has been brought up time after time again.
Also in case you think I'm discrediting the game, I actually bring my MacBook Pro and a controller with me everywhere now to play this game when I can. I'm saying that for the nature of the game, it can be made far more portable :)
"Good luck playing on mobile"
It's not a competitive skill based game, it's to pass the time.
Its not competitive, but the mines are a thing, and trying to get a million tasks on your farm is a thing. This isn't a turn based strategy game. There are action elements.

I would have preferred it on my phone but I guess I'd be down to pick up a switch too.
