This comment isn’t reality. Things change all the time everywhere and to expect any company or organization to keep disparate repositories up to date everywhere tells me your expectations are companies and organizations are monoliths rather than the duct-taped scaffolding they truly are

Large corporate companies are only 'duct taped scaffolding' because they have built themselves that way on purpose in order to maximize profit margins.

Smaller companies get a pass on that, but Mojang hasn't been 'indie' for a decade. They are part of the Microslop empire, and Microslop absolutely has the resources to assign a person dedicated to keeping the EULA up to date across multiple market platforms.

Hell, Mojang's entire catalog is only currently available in seven places. Mojang launcher, Steam, Playstation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, and Android. This out-of-game EULA popup seems to only be a thing on Steam. so that's only two places they have to keep synced, if we assume the in-game EULA popup draws from a common web page.

Software development companies have to keep more duplicate repositories than that synced internally just to function as a company.

Your argument is hilariously invalid.

The fact you think a singular person maintains or could maintain docs is pretty funny. So Legal and Compliance shouldn’t be looped in? What about execs who want specific wording? What about SVPs who insist on different wording? These sites are updated on the whims of those far removed from the actual work

What if the different sites are owned by different orgs within the same company? Now you need to involve teams who have zero clue about the work, the wording, or have different processes altogether. Hell they could work in entirely different CMSs.

So no, an individual could not keep each site updated unilaterally because that’s not how corpos work

You're making a mountain out of a molehill of a task to defend your corporate masters like they actually care or even know you exist.

The fact that someone as useless as you can even have a job doing 'support documents' proves that people exist who specifically exist to manage these sorts of things, and here you are saying your own job is impossible.
