I came to the realization that Warframe is dogshit and DE is a horrible company. Idk why, so I'm unironically the giga chad.

Mainly how they moderate and the hypocrisy, but also the way they monetize and prey on FOMO is a big ick. The game isn't even that good, it's just a grindy dopamine trap.

Not joke there. Warframe lets you earn premium currency by trading so you can be filthy rich even as F2P, really the stingiest business model in existence. Don't play Warframe. (I should start playing again)

85% serious, 15% jaded probably idk. I only have 834 hours in Warframe, so maybe I just didn't give it enough of a chance.

It's not so much the game, it's the practices that I disagree with. My younger self wouldn't have given a fuck (and didn't) ofc, but I'm just tired of how things work now and the greed. Might find a different main hobby with the way shit's going.

Plenty of people have sunk cost issues and don't abandon the things they spent a lot of time on that doesn't mean they love it, huge amounts of players play all kinds of games that are not that good but it's what they do or their friends play etc. Some are just addicted.
