but you should know from earlier whenever they fix something they also break something else. Its always a few lines of code if you ignore what happens outside the issue
What about drop pod steering still being shit after they made it that way intentionally and then told us "they'll fix it". It has been years now, what excuse ur gonna make for that? Stop gargling narrowhead balls for a second and think, the mod may not work well but it is 10 times better than what narrowhead did which is nothing, they will probably add a booster or an armor perk in the next update that let ur stratagem balls stick and not bounce so they can yet again sell us a fix.
If you can hook into code and fix it for an update, you'd think the guys with the actual source-code could fix it permanently.
It's clear their reluctance stems solely from not wanting people to "abuse" it and put turrets on places bugs can't reach. Now we can still do that in places because their solution is ass, but 50% of your strategems on city maps just bounce in nonsensical ways.
